I believe passionately that strategic marketing or strategic product management is an essential upstream function for any company that wants to drive crucial conversations about market opportunity.

Take time to consider how your company provides mentoring and support to your Product Manager or Strategic Marketer. Product Management is about blending human and technical skills. A Product Manager who is a confident leader will be more likely to create a compelling product strategy and to nurture a good approach to the discipline of product management.

I have been involved in the technology sector for over 30 years and have broad experience of strategic marketing and product management.

I work with those leaders who want to directly influence accelerated growth in their business. I support Product Managers to to establish a strong foothold at the leadership table by evolving their stakeholder management skills. I work with Product Managers to help them to articulate both corporate and personal objectives, helping them to balance strategic goals with day-to-day tactical activities.

As Vice President of Product Management in an international software company, I was responsible for the entire product portfolio and was influential in closing many multi-million euro deals for key products across international markets.

I use the transferrable skills that I developed in the technology sector to mentor and train leadership stakeholders in Irish companies across many industry sectors. I have delivered and supported workshops for Technology Ireland/Software Skillnet, Trinity College and Enterprise Ireland and I am a mentor with Mentoring for Scale (Ireland).

I have acted as an interim Strategic Marketer or Strategic Product Manager to guide organisations through a step-by-step process that enables them to create credible positioning statements that resonate with their target markets. I help the businesses I work with to focus only on projects that will drive value and revenue growth for the business.

I form partnerships with key resources in the digital marketing space so that businesses can easily communicate their value to the market following my 5 step Insight2Value process.

I can support the position to understand the ROI on hiring  a senior strategic marketing resource and can support them to take next steps in that process.

I have worked as a business mentor on numerous initiatives for Enterprise Ireland, UCD Mentoring for Scale, Trinity College and Ibec/Technology Ireland.

I provide both coaching & mentoring support to get the team through a structured action-oriented process, moderating crucial and productive leadership conversations.

I support my clients to sort through information to identify pieces of evidence and see solutions before others have seen problems!

I have an Advanced Diploma in Personal, Leadership and Executive Coaching, and the QQI Certificate in Professional Coaching Practice and Ethics – Kingstown College. I am also a certified practitioner of Robert Curphy’s Rocket Model of Team Coaching and the 6 Team Conditions.
